All Dover residents may bring trash and recyclable materials
to the Transfer Station once they have obtained a current
sticker.
Please note that the State of Massachusetts has banned
the following items from the trash: paper, glass, metal,
plastic, yard waste, CRTs, and household hazardous
waste. Please refer to the following instructions for proper
disposal of these and other items. If you have questions,

STICKER INFORMATION
Stickers will be issued to those showing a Dover vehicle
registration and/or a Dover driver's license. The stickers
are available at the Dover Highway Garage (located behind
Springdale Crossing) between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and
2:00 p.m Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday and at the
Transfer Station on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday when
staff is available. When you see a table set up by Mary's
Swap Shop at the Transfer Station please stop by and get
your new sticker.
FREE THERMOMETER EXCHANGE
We have a new supply of digital fever thermometers that
we will exchange for your hazardous mercury thermometers
free of charge. Please bring your mercury thermometers,
unbroken fluorescent tubes, ballasts, thermostats and switches,
all containing mercury to the Transfer Station Operator
for safe disposal. DO NOT THROW THEM IN THE TRASH.
FREE GARBAGE PICK-UP
Turn your garbage into pig food. All kitchen waste including
bones, egg shells, fruit and vegetable matter (including
peels and tops), moldy cheese, spoiled meat and poultry
will be picked up free of charge. To schedule a free weekly
