Metal and Glass

Metal

Rinse.  Cans do not need to be flattened.  Labels may be left on.

Include: aluminum, steel and tin cans, aluminum foil and trays, metal lids, non-deposit drink cans, empty aerosol cans

Exclude: clothes hangers, empty paint cans, and other miscellaneous items are recycled in the scrap metal bin

* All deposit containers should be placed in the deposit trailer.

Glass

Rinse.  Remove caps and collars.  Place in clear or colored glass bin.

Include: all clear and colored, non-deposit glass bottles and jars

Exclude: ceramics, pottery, dishes, drinking glasses, window glass, light bulbs, mirrors, crystal, auto glass, Pyrex, cookware
