Garbage (Food Waste)

Turn your garbage into pig food. To schedule a free weekly pick-up of all food waste, call the Dover Board of Health 508-785-0064.

Include: all kitchen waste including bones, egg shells, fruit and vegetable matter (including peels and tops), moldy cheese, spoiled meat and poultry

Exclude: rubber bands, twist ties, plastic bags

Yard Waste

Add acceptable material to pile. No bags (paper or plastic) or tied bundles. No ornaments or tinsel.

Include: leaves, untreated grass clippings, hedge trimmings, Christmas trees and wreaths, brush smaller than 1″ in diameter

Exclude: brush larger than 1″ in diameter, chemically treated materials
