Cemetery Commission

The Cemetery Commission operates and maintains the Highland Cemetery.

Please make sure you shut off the yard hydrant completely when finished using it, thank you.

Highland Cemetery Water Feature

The Dover Highland Cemetery Commissioners have plans to install a water feature at the back of the Cemetery so that visitors will have a specific location to relax, reflect and contemplate. The installation will consist of one or two benches, a small waterfall and landscaping.

The goal is to raise $28,000, and donations, which are tax deductible, should be made payable to the Town of Dover, MA with a reference to the Highland Cemetery Water Feature. The mailing address is:

Cemetery Commission
C/O Town Treasurer
PO Box 250
Dover, MA 02030-0250.

Donors will be recognized, if they wish, on a plaque at the site. Any questions may be directed to the Highland Cemetery Commission’s Chairman Bill Herd at 508-785-0474.
