Summer Hours

The Board of Selectmen have authorized a change in hours for the Town House beginning Memorial Day weekend and lasting until Labor Day. The Town House will be closing at 1:00pm on Fridays.

The Town Clerk would like to announce that office hours will be changing for that office from June 19 to Labor Day. The Town Clerk will be open from 8am-1pm Monday and Wednesday. Tuesday and Thursday they will be open 8am-4pm and the office will be closed on Fridays.

Division 3 State Champions!

 

Congratulations to Dover/Sherborn Girls Tennis team!

On Wednesday, June 10th they won the Division 3 State Championship.

Congrats also to the Boys Lacrosse team for making it to the State Finals. They lost a tough overtime game in the State Championship.

Notice of a Public Hearing

Where: Great Hall, 5 Springdale Ave., Dover, MA 02030

When: Wednesday, July 15, 2009, 7:00pm

Purpose: The purpose of this hearing is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed project. All views and comments made at this hearing will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.

Proposal: The work under this project consists of the replacement of Bridge No. D-10-004=N-04-007, which carries Willow Street over the Charles River. The work will include complete replacement of the bridge structure and wingfalls. The proposed structure will be a precast concrete arch designed to closely match the geometry of the existing arch. The existing stone facade on the bridge will be removed and reused in a nearly identical fashion on the proposed structure. The intent is to replace the structure and have it aesthetically match the existing structure. The bridge will be closed during construction.
